Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?

The concept of this logo was built based on the aim of warning about breast cancer and use as their symbol the pink ribbon, which is a symbol of awareness of breast cancer. Create a monogram with the two C’s initial of the professional name, like a pink ribbon concept.

Adobe Illustrator CS4, Adobe Photoshop CS4.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?

I’d start with pen sketches for build the main logo concept, and after completing the execution in illustrator. This logo has a very circular grid, so after the execution was necessary to refine curves, create a grid of ellipses.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?

Champagne & Limousines. See the link bellow too check the kerning study and the modifications about the type.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?

The color scheme attached the logo concept, so the ‘pink’ of the symbol, blend with the violet, and the neutral color used is a ‘skin’ color, cause the majority of the clients and victms of breast cancer is women. Then the color solution is required delicate and feminine.

Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?

Use a overused symbol, like the ribbon as a creative way. The monogram with CC without making the curves of C’s looks like boobies and become too vulgar, was also a big challenge. Combine these two concepts was undoubtedly a major challenge in implementing this logo.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?

Its a bit hard to take the perfect balance of the mark, maybe this will be the unique change, if i come to make some change.
