Sea design is a uk based design company. I was struck by the beyon logo and brand development for a upmarket office furniture company. The logo is a simple "b" but reflects a chairlike shape, as well as having a reasonbly modern feel to it, as well as reflecting a long tradition of furniture design. The application of the logo across different media is something i am a fan of. It has used simple coloured stock with embossing and foil to create a smart minimalist look. It keeps it looking professional, while uniting the whole brand in simplicity. A lot of modern design is moving towards this simple yet professional approach that gets across the right feel with the minimal amount of design elements.
